Personal Blogging With A Business Twist
Recently I am trying to use blogs to promote my business websites, wordpress based blogs are obvious and easy choice for me, as far as we know that WordPress is wonderful for automated posting, managing and much more, with the GPL liberal license make the WordPress the most favored blogging kit around the globe.
After a while I believed that build my own blogs will be more beneficial, because then I can use established and fully owned blogs to advertise other websites, and I think its not a patentable idea, the existence of blog networks already says it all, anyway those are other people’s asset and I have no control, and I have no way to post to those blogs, obviously I will have to pay the owner to use their blogs, probably not cheap at all.
Its quite difficult to manage more than a few blogs manually, if you don’t like garbage on your blogs, the real content writing is time and money consuming, a successful blog needs a lot of hard work. I’ve seen quite a few real world examples, such as this one, Tie Down Explained, it’s name is pretty cute, and there are a lot of interesting articles on it, though its not a theme focused blog, you’ll find all kinds of different posts there. Here is another one, Commercial WP Plugins, this blog has a theme, all posts are following the same theme, and ranks well for quite a few keywords. there are more sites like these out there, though I guess you get the point already. Last but not least, you should build some casual blogs, do some casual postings randomly, just like this blog, Best Business Hosting, this will make a blog network more like naturally built blog groups.
After you successfully build a few blogs, probably you can add a few more blogs to your arsenal, then use the established blogs to promote the new ones, this way you get your little blog network rolling. This is just an idea, it won’t be easy to build even a tiny blogging network, there’s one thing you do have to keep in your mind is that don’t ruin your hard work just because you want to cut a few corners.
